There are hundreds of financial and money sites. Some are
much better than others. Below marked
are the best. It's
generally best to look for an individual company by doing a search through
Google. These links are
given for information only. We don't recommend or endorse any company, service
or product mentioned. Many links on the site now go directly rather than
through this page.

Relevant and useful resources for more information
There are many other sites covering these topics but the
ones listed below seem the best of their type. Sites mainly relevent to the UK
are listed first:
UK
Financial and Investment sites A clearly set out and classified list from
Find to most UK sites. The first few entries are paid for so be sure to
scroll all the way down the list.
E-traderUK
Similar to Find but looks completely different.
Yahoo Finance UK An
excellent source for share quotes and news and probably almost everything else.
Includes Hemington Scott data on all UK quoted companies. You can also set up
real or shadow portfolios for European shares (includes UK) and US shares
(currently not both in the same portfolio).
This Is Money City
News Monday to Friday as it's published in the London Evening Standard City
Pages.
Moneynet UK Up to date bank
and building society investment and mortgage interest rates.
Trust Net Detailed
information on investment trusts, unit trusts and OEICs. The site can be slow
at times.
For information on US markets:
Yahoo Finance US The US version.
Microsoft Money Central
Investor A fantastic source of statistical information relevent to US
shares and markets with UK shares likely soon to be added.
C/NET Investor Different but similar
to Microsoft Money Central Investor. You should take a look at both if you
trade in US shares.
The Motley Fool A bit manic but at its best
if you want mechanical strategies for making money from shares. The UK version
is mainly personal finance.
