Tüyap brings Plast Eurasia to Istanbul for its 35th outing this December. Plastics machinery, raw materials and production technologies are to sit under one roof, as organisers step up their drive to draw trade buyers from leading European markets ahead of opening day.
İstanbul – Plast Eurasia opens its doors 2-5 December 2026 at Tüyap Fair and Congress Center in Istanbul. Tüyap Fairs and Exhibitions Organization Inc. is behind the event, working in cooperation with PAGEV and with backing from the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Trade. Buying professionals, distributors, producers of raw materials, technology suppliers and manufacturers will convene there to forge commercial ties throughout the whole plastics sector.
“For 35 years, Plast Eurasia supports the growth and development of the industry by bringing companies and professionals together and helping turn those connections into commercial relationships,” according to İlhan Ersözlü, General Manager at Tüyap Fairs Production Inc. “This year, we want to carry that experience forward by creating focused opportunities for buyers, suppliers and technology companies to meet around the needs of today’s plastics industry.”
The push for European trade visitors accelerates
Some 3 months ahead of opening day, 90% of the stand space has already been booked. Organisers put expected attendance at 80,000, drawn from Türkiye and beyond, and the trade visitor drive focuses on Germany, France, Italy, Poland, Romania, Belgium and Greece, plus markets in North Africa and the Middle East.
Machinery vendors, materials producers and further plastics businesses will occupy one shared exhibition setting in Istanbul this December, offering European industry professionals a single destination. The international visitor programme targets new commercial contacts and also aims to assist companies in strengthening the trade relationships already in place.
Hardware, materials and production technology fill the agenda
The show rests on two pillars: machinery for plastic production, plus raw materials and chemicals. Also on show are machinery solutions and next-generation production technologies, where innovation, efficiency and value-added output rank among the themes driving business talks.
Such product variety should allow technical specialists and buyers to review materials, machinery and production methods in a single trip, while exhibitors showcase fresh products, technologies and industry solutions to a global audience.
Birthday programme traces 35 years of industry change
The programme for the 35th anniversary includes a Milestones Map, which lays out year by year the fair’s key chapters and, alongside them, shifts in the plastics industry. A display of vintage plastics production machines will also show the way manufacturing technology has moved on.
At the opening ceremony, plaques go to Kontel Elektronik, Enformak Plastik Teknolojileri and Almak Ateş Makine, a trio that has exhibited across all 35 years of the event, honouring their long-running commitment.
Through The Stage is Yours!, exhibitors receive 30-minute slots for presentations, using them to walk visitors through success stories plus technologies, value-added products and solutions for the sector.
Guided support on offer to hosted buyers
The Hosted Buyer Guided Tour programme helps overseas purchasing delegations pinpoint the exhibitors and product categories of most relevance to them with less effort. Participating buyers gain guided itineraries, trips to demo and event zones, access to the Hosted Buyer Lounge and support services set aside for them.
Turkish Airlines, as Official Airline of Plast Eurasia, is offering reductions on eligible international return tickets to Istanbul flown between 25 November and 12 December 2026, trimming Economy Class fares by 10%, with Business Class down 15%.
